Thanks for help.
Another question please.

Do you think there is an opportunity to enter the General surgery residency?
if it is weak, then my second option is an internal medicine.

thanks again.

Surgery is not easy but still possible. As you have choices it means that you are looking for good training over here. So do your best in the exams and try to do clinical experience or research and then apply for residency. Hope you the best :-)

I'm good thanks amr,
to join in a research project you gotta ask everybody you work with till you find someone working on a project and in need for some assistance.
I myself prepared well for that. It's not a joke to fail in the CS. I was practicing with my patients in the hospital allover the time I spent in electives. Sure I wasn't timing myself. I've studied FA and kaplan for cs.
Regarding the test center, I never heard that chicago is a prefered one. Some people say Huoston, TX. But I don't believe in this garbage. It's a standardized test, it should be all centers the same. Som ppl want to make any excuse for their failure but in fact nothing is supporting that.
One month of electives not gonna help you as a clinical experience for the match. Most of those requiring CE they say at least 2 months so you better spend more time. Yeah it will help you fot the exam, but the timed practice with another examiner is the best way.
I don't think you should postpone your internship for that, you can do it during your internship.
Idk about masters, it may help but not really a big plus.
good luck.

Thanks dr.no3man..
-Can you tell me more about preparing for the CS,, I still have time but I want to be prepared...
I believe it will need hard work. some recommend sky pe training with others ..?
-ana fe 3ein shams : ) ,23taked  they will only allow me for two months, any more time I think will not be considered,,, and will finally be postponed. I will ask them , may be they changed their  rules.
thanks again ,,,,,,, very helpful as usual : D

In sha Allah I'll make another topic about the CS and how to prepare. And the best way to ace it in your way to residency in sha al rahman.
When I have time, I'll start working on this. Wink

Should our documents be authenticated from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mowathka men el-7'arigiah)?
